Cadillac CTSV Race Car

‘Fast’ is a relative term these days just like ‘Horsepower’ and ‘MPG’. 135 mph in a stock 2013 Mercedes-Benz C63 Coupe is fast. 148 mph in an open-wheeled Indy-car on an oval track is really fast. And close to 180 mph on in a Cadillac CTS-V Race Car driven by Andy Pilgrim is stupid fast. Well. Yesterday. I went stupid fast. And I brought my cameras with me.

Here is a single hot lap around Road America race track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin with Andy behind the wheel. The footage was captured by two GoPro HDHero2 cameras, one mounted to the right front chin spoiler and one mounted directly above the windshield on the roof. Stoooooopid fast. Enjoy the photos too…
