My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to go hiking in Northern Michigan this past weekend when we got a bit, shall we say, lost? I turned down a dirty road thinking it would lead me to the UP’s Hogback Mountain. It was like a scene out of a movie, a desolate road surrounded by little shacks on the water and thick pine trees. As I was about to turn the car around, I saw, hiding in plain sight, an old four door Mercedes-Benz saloon. Im guessing its from the early to mid ’70s.
