I’m going to shimmy out on a high altitude tree limb and express my views on the the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster: This is the prettiest car. Ever.
I don’t think I’m alone in this assessment. I’m really just gonna shut up and show off the photos. Oh, and this post was spurred on by the fact that I will be driving around in one of these tomorrow. For reals. Thank god for the weather in North Carolina and to good friends who own one. Those photos will be for a different post. These cars can still be found, what a treat. Of course, they will always be the toys of the rich and famous, but hey, if you had $600K to blow why not?
